How’s your Plastic Free July going so far? We know it’s very tough to avoid the plastic stuff – it’s everywhere!
To celebrate everyone’s efforts this month, Plastic Free Byron is hosting ‘A Plastic Ocean‘ – a new documentary highlighting the plastic pollution problems we face as a society and, most importantly, what we can do about the problem! This doco is a MUST-SEE for anyone who lives on Planet Earth!
Tickets and Location? Brunswick Picture House, 30 Fingal St, Brunswick Heads NSW
When? Friday 28th July. Doors open from 6pm and the movie starts at 7pm sharp!
Cost? $14 adults, $12 concession and $10 kids
What? This is a fundraiser for Plastic Free Byron, and all funds raised will go towards transitioning our town away from single-use, disposable plastics!
What else? Brunswick Picture House will do a selection of meals, drinks and treats from 6pm and there will also be a stall to buy plastic free alternatives and PFB merchandise. Plastic Free Byron volunteers will also host a Q & A after the movie with some movers and shakers in the Byron Shire who are helping in the fight against plastics. So stick around!
